Summary:

second game in the final round of the Milo Cup, and we face the second team from second round grouping in the competition, Singapore School White are made up of secondary school basketball player who which the coach think they played well in the Inter-School Competition.

we started the game with low scoring, total 19 points for 10 mins. the period was not that exciting as it was at the later part of the game. after the 'warming up' period. WRS is here to show what we are here for. the motion and tempo were controlled by us and we even manage to extend the lead to 10+ points. MR SCORER and MR REBOUND manage to work hand-in-hand to give some trouble with opponent's man-mark, which actually earn us some free throw shot and their foul trouble.

some tiredness might be the reason that opponent are able to take the game to a draw in the third period. and we did not realize that opponents are much more fitter and built till the period four as we are not able to keep the board safe after their forced shot. with their offensive rebound and their no 8's performance, they forced the game to a overtime. i guess this is like the only match that we had overtime since sec 2.

having foul trouble and team foul, combining with MR SCORER driving skills and the team's free throw shot, we manage to secure 2 points lead in the last 10 sec.

PROBLEM:

RICHARD AND ENG HUI, continue to work together while pushing the team higher

TEAM. we need to work hard in BOXING OUT the opponent. they had too many second attempt during the forth period. DEFENSIVE REBOUND is very important.

we are a group of people who found ourselves playing basketball for the same team WRS
WRS used to be a unknown team who could not even get into the second round of the inter-school NORTH ZONE basketball championship
WRS even took part in the MILO cup every year to gain experience but we always kicked out in the primary round
WRS took part many big and small competition, have lots of friendly match with other school just to gain experience and prepare us for bigger competition
FROM POINTER(<2004) TO FBT(2004) TO CONVERSE(2004-2005) TO DOS(2006) TO ADIDAS(2007-NOW) AXIS or DOS for ALUMNI
WRS grew from a weed to a blossom flower now
after years of hardwork thrown in by MR CLEMENT LIM and MR ONG(AH GUAN)
we started to write history

in 2003
C'boys leaded by MR ONG and JUNJIE ONG(our FIRST player who made into national youth squat), we manage to get the third place in NORTH ZONE
in 2004,
C'boys leaded by MR ONG and XUNPING POW(our SECOND player who made into national youth squat), we manage to crown the CHAMPION in NORTH ZONE
TEAM CONSISTS OF MANI(4), WEIYAO(5), SAM OH(6), CHEESIONG(7), KENNETH LEE(8), ALAN WONG(9), YEWTAT TAN(10), KIANTEE LIM(11) ENGHUI TAN(12), ZHAOWEI(13), ZHENFENG LEE(14), XUNPING POW(15)
B'boys leaded by MR LIM and WENBING, we manage to take CHAMPION in NORTH ZONE HOME
in 2005,
leaded by MR ONG and the TEAM who are all UNDER 16, we manage to get into the TOP8 in the MILO CUP UNDER 18
THE TEAM CONSIST OF JUNJIE ONG, KAIWEI HU, JUNFENG, XUNPING POW, ENGHUI TAN, SAM OH, ZHENFENG LEE, and OTHERS
in 2006,
C'boys leaded by MR LIM and TEAM, we manage to win SECOND place in NORTH ZONE
B'boys leaded by MR ONG and TEAM, we manage to win THIRD place in NORTH ZONE and TOP8 in NATIONAL ROUND
THE B'BOYS WAS A MEMORABLE TEAM AS THIS MARKS THE END OF OUR VERY FIRST TEAM TO MAKE HISTORY IN WRS BY BREAKING THROUGH ALL THE OBSTACLE.
BESIDE THIS, WE ARE THE VERY FIRST TEAM IN SINGAPORE SECONDARY BASKETBALL HISTORY TO BRING DOS BRAND INTO THE COMPETITION AND HAVE OUR NAME PRINTED ON THE BACK OF OUR JERSEY
leaded by MR LIM and TEAM, we manage to win the THIRD place in the MILO CUP UNDER 16
THE TEAM CONSIST OF ENGHUI TAN, RICHARD NEO, SAM OH, CHEE SIONG, WEI YAO, JIAN HUANG, MANI, and OTHERS

THERE ARE A LOT MORE COMPETITION THAT WE WON, BUT IT'S DIFFICULT MENTION ALL AND I THINK WE ARE MOST PROUD ACHIEVEMENTS WE WON ARE WHAT I STATED ABOVE
